SafeCom G4 520*10: Installation error on Windows Server 2012 R2
Problem Statement:
During SafeCom G4 520*10 installation on Windows Server 2012 R2 the installation fails with following error:
"The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-stdio-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
Cause:
SafeCom G4 520*10 uses a newer version of MS C/C++ runtime libraries, that require certain updates to be installed on Windows Server 2012 R2.
Solution:
Install the following Microsoft Windows updates in the following order before installing SafeCom on Windows Server 2012 R2:
1. KB 2939087
2. KB 2975061
3. KB 2919355
4. KB 2999226
