Importing AD users not working (Troubleshooting)

Import of AD users fails

Problem statement:

User Import of AD users not working. Running the task manually shows an error of "Reading Databases Objects" - failed 

Import Log shows error: "Unknown user name or bad password. Error! Bad completion code(-4)". 

Issue:

The SafeCom Administrator username or password for the User Import configuration is wrong.

Solution:

The error is within the SafeCom Administrator account. Need to make sure the SafeCom user has administrator rights and the correct password.
