When trying to access the SafeCom Device Server webpage it shows error 404 - Page not found.

Problem statement:

When trying to access the SafeCom Device Server webpage it shows error 404 - Page not found.

Cause:

The SafeCom Device Server Service was not able to startup because the TCP port 8080 was already in use.

Many other webservice applications are using this same port for their webservice.

For example: "Citrix Printing Tools".

Resolution:

Change the port on the conflicting service or stop/remove the application.

The default port TCP 8080 can't be changed for the Device Server service.

Another solution could be to move the Device Server to a dedicated server.
